He has more than 25 years of top-level management experience in the career school industry. York uses best practices and techniques to create exemplary learning environments while generating record levels of revenues and profits.

York’s recent background includes owning and operating film schools, radio and television broadcasting schools and on-camera film acting schools in the United States and key international cities. He has created many successful educational programs to prepare students for entry-level work in the film and media industries. York earned his Bachelor of Science degree in education from Southern Connecticut State University.

He founded career schools in Los Angeles, Boston, Miami, Nashville, Rochester, Birmingham, Oklahoma City, Palm Beach, Hong Kong, Belgium and more. York’s worldwide experience opens doors for a wealth of education and future career opportunities for students.

York has also executive produced more than 300 short films by first-time filmmakers as well as several features and documentaries. More than 50 of the films have won achievement awards at various film festivals. More recently, he has focused on developing curriculum and establishing procedures for international students to attend United States-based schools.
